Saral Food is the leading professional trade fair for the agri-food, catering, and hospitality sectors in Central Italy. Held annually in Chieti Scalo, in the municipality of Chieti (province of Chieti, Abruzzo), it has been a benchmark for chefs, pizza makers, pastry chefs, bartenders, restaurateurs, and food & beverage companies for over thirty years. Over the years, the event has hosted hundreds of exhibitors from all over Italy and Europe, establishing itself as a showcase for enogastronomic excellence and industry trends.
For four days, the exhibition space transforms into a grand laboratory of taste: show cooking, masterclasses, technical demonstrations, and competitions take place in areas dedicated to cooking, pizza, pastry, and mixology. Alongside the exhibitors, the program places great emphasis on professional training and networking among operators, with a special focus on typical products and the regional excellence of Abruzzo.
Founded in the early nineties, Saral Food has grown to become one of the most anticipated industry events in Central-Southern Italy. Among the historic events accompanying the fair is "Dal Chicco all'Espresso" (From Bean to Espresso), organized by the historic Abruzzese company Caffรจ Mokambo, dedicated to the world of coffee, mixology, and professional training. The event thus combines the promotion of local products with technical updates for professionals in a context that enhances the entire hospitality supply chain.
The fair is held at the Live Campus Dromedian in Chieti Scalo, a multi-functional space near the university campus, easily accessible and equipped with large exhibition areas. The city of Chieti, the provincial capital of Abruzzo, also offers the opportunity to discover the rich historical heritage and enogastronomic traditions of the area.
The 35th edition of Saral Food was held from March 22 to 25, 2026, at the Live Campus Dromedian in Chieti Scalo. Four days brought together chefs, pizza makers, pastry chefs, bartenders, companies, and exhibitors from the agri-food sector in Central Italy.
The program featured show cooking and masterclasses in areas dedicated to regional Abruzzese cuisine, contemporary pizza (pan and paddle), pastry, and Italian gastronomic identity. There was also space for mixology, with competitions between professional bartenders and hospitality school students, and the Made in Italy Area dedicated to innovation and sustainability. Among the historic events, the 30th edition of "Dal Chicco all'Espresso" organized by Caffรจ Mokambo.

By car: Take the Chieti exit on the A25 motorway, then follow signs for Chieti Scalo; the Live Campus Dromedian is located on Via Enrico Piaggio, in the university area.
By train: Chieti station (Chieti Scalo) on the Adriatic line, a short distance from the fairgrounds.
