I Sapori di San Martino is the annual fair and market that, during the St. Martin's Summer, brings the village of Congiunti in the municipality of Collecorvino (Pescara) to life. Organized by the Associazione Culturale Congiunti with the support of the Collecorvino municipal government, the event celebrates the arrival of new wine and the flavors of the Abruzzo autumn, drawing visitors from across the Vestina area and the Pescara region.

The heart of the fair is the large heated marquee set up in Congiunti, where the public can sit back and savor offerings from the finest Abruzzo wineries. Past editions have featured local producers such as Contesa, Priore, Centorame, De Vescovi Ulzabah, and Barba, with wine tastings paired with cured meats, Abruzzo cheeses, and traditional peasant dishes: sagne e fagioli, gnocchi, arrosticini, sausages, and, of course, roasted chestnuts.

Rural traditions

The day begins early with the 'sdijuno del contadino', the hearty rural breakfast featuring dishes like 'cif e ciaf' and 'pipindune e ove', followed by the blessing of agricultural machinery and animals—a heartfelt moment that recalls the ancient bond between the Congiunti community and the land. The fair is organized into thematic areas: the gastronomic sector under the marquee, the craft market, and the educational farm.

• Craft market with over twenty hobbyists and artisans showcasing handmade wood, plaster, and craft creations, often serving as a preview for Christmas markets;
