The street food festival in the heart of Bientina, featuring food trucks, craft beers, and live music.
Every spring, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, in the heart of the historic center of Bientina (Province of Pisa, Tuscany), transforms into a large open-air gastronomic village. Bientina Mangiami Street Food is a festival dedicated to street cuisine that attracts food lovers, families, and curious visitors from across the Valdera and Lower Valdarno areas for four days of flavor, conviviality, and fun.
The heart of the event lies in its numerous food trucks, vintage vans, and mobile kitchens parked along the square, serving Italian and international regional specialties. Offerings range from Abruzzese arrosticini to black angus burgers, from lampredotto and Tuscan schiacciata to porchetta, from fried seafood to Neapolitan fried pizza, as well as paella, Apulian bombette, and desserts like freshly filled warm bomboloni. There are also vegetarian and vegan options, and in recent editions, gluten-free and lactose-free choices have been available.
Pair your meal with craft beers, cocktails, and soft drinks served at the area's bars. Every evening, the festival comes alive with live music and performances that include local singing and dance schools, creating a community atmosphere that brings different generations together.
The festival is organized by GNAM Art Food Music under the patronage of the Municipality of Bientina, in collaboration with the Bientina Natural Shopping Center, the I Love Bientina association, and Confesercenti Pisa. More than just a food fair, Bientina Mangiami has become a key event for the historic center, designed to bring the square to life and support local businesses.
The event takes place in May in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, in the heart of Bientina. Stands open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, while on Sunday, the event is usually open for both lunch and dinner. Admission is free.
