The monthly antiques, collectibles, and vintage market in the heart of Pescia
Every fourth Sunday of the month, the historic center of Pescia, in the heart of the Valdinievole area in the province of Pistoia, transforms into a large open-air market. Pescia Antiqua is one of the main monthly antique events in Tuscany: a widespread market exhibition that fills the squares and streets of the center with stalls featuring selected antiques, mid-century modern pieces, collectibles, and vintage items. It is the perfect opportunity for those who love browsing through objects of the past, hunting for a rare find, or simply spending a different kind of day strolling through the city's living room.
The stalls are spread along a route that crosses the heart of Pescia: Piazza Mazzini, which hosts the most select antiques and collectibles, Borgo della Vittoria and via Andreotti, dedicated to the flea market, vintage items, and typical Tuscan sweets, as well as via Ricasoli, via Buonvicini, Piazza del Grano, Piazza XX Settembre, and Piazza Matteotti. Every month, the event attracts dozens of exhibitors and thousands of visitors from all over the Valdinievole and neighboring provinces.
During Pescia Antiqua, the shops in the center remain open, and collateral initiatives are often added, making the event a true festive Sunday for the city.
Organized by the Associazione Culturale Pinocchio 3000 in collaboration with the Municipality of Pescia, the market is now a reference point for enthusiasts, antique dealers, and curious visitors. Its monthly frequency, always on the fourth Sunday, makes it one of the most anticipated events in the province of Pistoia and an excellent excuse to discover Pescia, the city of Pinocchio and the flower-growing capital of Tuscany.
The 2026 edition of Pescia Antiqua confirms the established formula of the monthly market spread throughout the historic center of Pescia, in the province of Pistoia. Every fourth Sunday of the month, the squares and streets of the center welcome exhibitors of antiques, mid-century modern items, collectibles, vintage goods, and crafts, with free admission and continuous hours from morning to evening.
Stalls for selected antiques and collectibles are concentrated in Piazza Mazzini, while Borgo della Vittoria and via Andreotti host the flea market, vintage items, and typical Tuscan sweets.
