Cascina's 'white night': music, shows, and late-night shopping in the historic center
The Cascina Pink Night is the flagship summer event in the town of Cascina, located in the heart of Tuscany, near Pisa. For one night, the historic center transforms into a massive, sprawling celebration: Corso Matteotti, Piazza dei Caduti per la Libertร , Piazza della Chiesa, and the surrounding streets fill with music, lights, and crowds until the early hours. It is a classic Italian notte bianca (white night), themed in shades of pink, with shops, bars, and restaurants staying open well past midnight.
Cascina is an ancient walled town just steps from the Arno River, defined by its long, porticoed main street. During the Pink Night, these very porticoes and squares become the backdrop for concerts, DJ sets, dance and aerial art performances, magic shows, roaming bands, and street performers. The main square hosts the central stage, while other squares and intersections feature various performance points, ensuring every corner of the center is buzzing with entertainment.
The Pink Night program blends diverse genres and styles: from themed 80s and 90s music parties to local youth bands, dance performances, funk, blues, and swing street bands, and shows for children. There is plenty for families to enjoy:
The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Cascina in collaboration with the Municipality and Confcommercio of the Province of Pisa, with the support of the North-West Tuscany Chamber of Commerce, which includes the Pink Night in its official calendar of summer 'nights' in the Pisan territory. It is an event designed to promote the natural shopping center and the entire economic and social fabric of Cascina, quickly becoming one of the most anticipated dates of the local summer.
The 2026 Cascina Pink Night will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in the historic center, along Corso Matteotti, Piazza dei Caduti, and the surrounding streets. The date is confirmed: the event is part of the summer 'nights' of North-West Tuscany, supported by the Chamber of Commerce with over 75,000 euros in total funding for the festival series.
As in previous editions, the evening will feature live music and DJ sets, dance and street performances, children's entertainment, craft markets, street food, and shops open until late.
The detailed program, including stages, schedules, and artist names, will be announced by the organizers in the weeks leading up to the event. This page will be updated as soon as the full line-up is published.
