A food and wine walking tour through the hamlets of Commezzadura, in Val di Sole
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Gusta e Vai is a food and wine walking tour that winds through the charming hamlets of the Commezzadura municipality, located in Val di Sole, in the heart of the Autonomous Province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). The concept is simple yet engaging: walk from one village to the next, stopping at each stage to savor a dish or a specialty of the traditional Trentino culinary heritage, from breakfast all the way to the afternoon snack.
The trail connects the village hamlets in sequence, each offering a specific gastronomic treat served during a set time frame:
The day culminates at the Parco Fluviale in Commezzadura, where walkers gather for an afternoon snack, a final toast, and live music in a beautiful riverside setting. It is the most social moment of the event, designed for families, hikers, and food lovers alike.
Gusta e Vai is an event with a rich history: after a hiatus of over fifteen years, it made a comeback in 2024, reviving a tradition deeply cherished by the local community. The initiative is organized by the Pro Loco Commezzadura, which manages hospitality, bookings, and the logistics of the stops along the route. A free shuttle bus service, available upon reservation, makes it easy for participants to move between the hamlets.
Gusta e Vai is the perfect opportunity to discover the authentic soul of Val di Sole: a mountain region where fine food, tradition, and landscape intertwine. Walking among the mountain huts and hamlets of Commezzadura, you can experience true Trentino hospitality and taste dishes that tell the story of the valley's culinary history. It is a genuine, understated event suitable for all ages.
The dates for the 2026 edition of Gusta e Vai have not yet been announced. Based on previous years, the food and wine tour through the hamlets of Commezzadura (Val di Sole, Trentino) is expected to return on a Sunday in August, featuring the usual route from breakfast to afternoon snacks and the final celebration at the Parco Fluviale. For updated information on dates, the program, and bookings, we recommend contacting the Pro Loco Commezzadura.
