Quality music across the villages of Val di Non
The Rumo Music Festival is a new musical series launched in 2026 by the Municipality of Rumo, a small town in the Val di Non, in the province of Trento, within the Trentino-Alto Adige region. Organized in partnership with the Lucilla May APS Association of Trento, the festival offers a high-caliber artistic program designed to showcase the most characteristic spots and hamlets of the municipality.
The first edition spans the entire season, from July to December, with four events hosted in the villages of Marcena, Lanza, and Mione. Each concert is tailored to a unique setting: the auditorium, the geological park, and historic mountain churches serve as dramatic backdrops for repertoires ranging from tango to sacred music.
Rumo is located in the upper Val di Non, Trentino's famous "apple valley," set in a stunning landscape of forests and peaks. The Rumo Music Festival weaves together music and local heritage, inviting the public to discover the Marcena Auditorium, the Geological Park, and the historic churches of the hamlets, creating a cultural journey that accompanies the region from summer through to Advent.
As it celebrates its first edition, the festival aims to become a cultural landmark for the Rumo community and visitors to Val di Non, combining performances by renowned artists with the discovery of the municipality's most picturesque locations.
