The Gust'Aspasso street food festival in the heart of Cascina
Cascina Street Food is a traveling gastronomic event organized by Gust'Aspasso Eventi that brings the historic center of Cascina, in the province of Pisa, Tuscany, to life for an entire weekend. The festival takes place along Corso Matteotti and in Piazza dei Caduti, two of the town's most popular spots, which for the occasion are filled with food trucks, enticing aromas, and music from noon until late at night.
The heart of the event is its vast gastronomic variety: stalls and vintage food trucks offer Italian, European, and international specialties, ranging from classic meats like hamburgers, pulled pork, and porchetta to ethnic dishes with flavors spanning from Mexico to Morocco and the United States, without forgetting traditional Tuscan delicacies. To accompany the dishes, there is a rich selection of craft beers, perfect for completing the street food experience.
Beyond the food, Cascina Street Food offers an entertainment program designed for all ages. During the evenings, there is live music, featuring cover bands and DJ sets, keeping the atmosphere lively until late. The streets of the center also host artisan markets, while children can have fun with rides and inflatable games set up just for them.
Cascina Street Food is part of a traveling circuit that brings Gust'Aspasso street food to various locations across Tuscany: after the Cascina stop, the caravan of food trucks moves on to other cities in the region. The free admission policy and the central location make it one of the most anticipated food and wine events of the spring in the Pisa area.
The 2026 edition of the event organized by Gust'Aspasso Eventi was held from April 17 to 19 in the center of Cascina, along Corso Matteotti and in Piazza dei Caduti. Stalls were open daily from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM with free admission.
