About Vini Bagnanti

Vini Bagnanti brings fifty artisan winemakers and their natural wines to a kilometer of private beach at the Riva degli Etruschi Resort in San Vincenzo, on the Etruscan Coast in the province of Livorno. A food and wine festival combining unlimited tastings, storytelling of the territories, and seafood cuisine by the Tyrrhenian Sea, supported by Slow Food, Slow Wine, and the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo. Artisan wine, flavor, and the sea in a single day at the end of June.

Natural wine by the sea

Vini Bagnanti is the artisan wine festival that transforms a kilometer of private beach at the Riva degli Etruschi Resort in San Vincenzo into a massive tasting counter where you can walk barefoot on the sand. We are on the Etruscan Coast, in the heart of the province of Livorno, one of the most evocative stretches of the Tuscany coastline: here, between pine forests and the Tyrrhenian Sea, fifty winemakers meet enthusiasts at sunset.

Fifty artisan winemakers

The festival brings together 50 wineries selected for their production identity, sustainability, and connection to the land. Alongside a strong Tuscan presence, producers arrive from all over Italy and abroad, with labels also coming from Spain, Hungary, Slovenia, Greece, and Argentina. The common thread is natural and artisan wine, told through the voices of those who produce it: not just a simple tasting, but a dialogue between winemaker and visitor.

The experience areas

The journey is not limited to tasting counters. The edition offers various thematic areas where wine becomes a storytelling tool:

  • Sensory trail with workshops curated by the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo;
  • Fairness Lab (Laboratorio del Giusto), a masterclass dedicated to the social and human aspects of wine, curated by Slow Wine and the Wine Bank of Pollenzo;
  • Gastronomic area with traditional dishes and seafood cuisine, curated by the Slow Food Etruscan Coast Convivium and selected artisan food producers;
  • spaces for direct interaction between producers and the public.

The 2026 theme: "Fair"

Each edition revolves around a theme. The most recent one is dedicated to the concept of "Fair" (Giusto), explored through meetings and activities on the social and environmental responsibility of wine production, environmental justice, and the identity of the territories. A choice that reflects the philosophy of the Vini Migranti project conceived by Teseo Geri, from which the festival was born together with the Riva degli Etruschi Resort.

Eating, drinking, and experiencing the Etruscan Coast

The food area offers fresh fish, seasonal vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, and local products, in full accordance with the Slow Food philosophy. The Riva degli Etruschi Resort, nestled in thirty-five hectares of pine forests and vegetable gardens, also offers the possibility to extend your visit by discovering the Etruscan Coast, between the beaches of San Vincenzo, the Gulf of Baratti, and the villages of the Livorno hinterland. Vini Bagnanti is now one of the most anticipated events of the Tuscan wine summer.
