The Dogliani DOCG festival featuring cuisine, pairings, and tastings
Terroir Dogliani is a festival centered on Dogliani DOCG, the prestigious red wine crafted from the Dolcetto grape in the hills surrounding Dogliani, a town in the province of Cuneo in the heart of the Piedmontese Langhe. The event is organized by the Bottega del Vino di Dogliani, an association that has brought together the denomination's producers since 1984 and is based in the Town Hall in Piazza San Paolo.
Created to bring renewed visibility to a wine with a long-standing tradition, Terroir Dogliani is designed for both industry professionals and enthusiasts. Over two days, the event features guided tastings, masterclasses, tasting counters, and opportunities for dialogue between winemakers, journalists, sommeliers, and restaurateurs, including the official presentation of the new Dogliani DOCG Classico and Superiore vintages.
Each edition of Terroir Dogliani selects a theme to guide its talks and in-depth sessions. Past topics have included the communication and identity of Dolcetto, the social value of wine, and synergies with neighboring denominations in the Langhe and Monferrato regions. The common thread remains the same: understanding how a wine-growing territory can tell its own story and assert its personality by comparing the memory of historic vintages with future prospects.
In addition to the main weekend, Terroir Dogliani extends throughout the year with a rich calendar of OFF events: tastings, dinners, and meetings hosted in wine shops and restaurants, even outside the local area, to bring Dogliani DOCG to an ever-wider audience. It is a way to transform a two-day festival into a continuous journey of discovering Dolcetto.
Visiting Terroir Dogliani also means immersing yourself in one of the most picturesque villages in the Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Strolls through vineyards and hills, winery visits, and traditional Piedmontese cuisine complete the experience, making the event an ideal opportunity to get to know the town of Dogliani and the entire province of Cuneo up close.
On Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22, 2026, Terroir Dogliani returns to its historic venue, the Bottega del Vino di Dogliani DOCG, in Piazza San Paolo in Dogliani (CN). The theme of this edition is "Contemporary Dogliani: Cuisine, pairings, service, sales", a journey that places wine at the heart of modern dining: pairings, service, wine lists, and ways of promoting Dolcetto in the places where it is selected, recommended, and shared.
The event will include the official presentation of the new Dogliani DOCG vintages, tastings, in-depth sessions, and discussions with industry buyers. The festival is also accompanied by a calendar of OFF events, from April 2026 to March 2027, featuring tastings, dinners, and meetings in wine shops and restaurants even outside the local area.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition, including times, masterclasses, and speakers, will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event.
