Il Trovarobe – Antiques, Collectibles and Modern Design Market

A market that tells the story of time

Every month, on a Sunday, the historic center of Racconigi, in the heart of the Cuneo province (Piedmont), hosts Il Trovarobe, one of the most important antiques, collectibles, and modern design markets in the region. The stalls wind through the streets and squares of the center, right in front of the entrance to the majestic Racconigi Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Savoy residence that provides a natural backdrop for a day entirely dedicated to hunting for rare finds.

What you will find at the stalls

With about 140 exhibitors from all over Piedmont and neighboring regions, Il Trovarobe is a true paradise for those who love to browse and discover. At the stalls, you will find everything:

• period furniture and furnishings, home accessories;
• rare and out-of-print books, prints, postcards, and documents;
• vinyl records, radios, and modern design objects;
• vintage clothing and accessories, footwear, costume jewelry;
• ceramics, glassware, coins, watches, and small collectibles.

It is not just a market for connoisseurs: it is also a perfect opportunity for a family stroll, discovering Racconigi with its restaurants, artisan shops, and numerous historical attractions.

A monthly appointment all year round

Il Trovarobe is usually held one Sunday a month, from early morning until sunset, throughout the year. It is organized by the Racconigincentro Association, with the patronage of the Municipality of Racconigi, Ascom Savigliano, and the Cuneo Chamber of Commerce. The regularity of the appointments has made it a consolidated tradition for the commerce and cultural life of the city.

New: sheltered from bad weather

Among the innovations of recent years, in case of rain or bad weather, the market is no longer canceled: exhibitors find shelter under the covered market wing of Via Carlo Costa. A solution that guarantees the event takes place in any condition, to the benefit of both exhibitors and visitors.
