The Santa Paola Festival in Cinzano

Every early June, the village of Cinzano in Santa Vittoria d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo, gathers for the Santa Paola Festival, the most anticipated event of the year for the small community overlooking the Roero hills. For six days, Piazza Europa transforms into a vibrant festival space, featuring a funfair, street food area, musical evenings, and the aromas of traditional Piedmontese cuisine.

The Agnolotto del Plin Festival

The gastronomic heart of the event is the Agnolotto del Plin Festival, which reached the milestone of its 25th edition in 2026. The plin, a small ravioli pinched by hand with the fingertips (the word "plin" means "pinch" in Piedmontese), is a symbol of the cuisine of the Langhe and Roero regions. In Cinzano, it is prepared according to the traditional recipe and served during the main evenings of the festival, alongside other local specialties. Given the high turnout, booking for dinners is highly recommended.

Music, Entertainment, and Community

The program offers something for all ages. The opening is dedicated to the youngest, with a recital by students from the Centro Esperienze Musicali and a performance by the local primary school. The evenings continue with live concerts, such as the Hyper Show by the Abcd Band, the 90s Party, the Sunday Party, and a tribute concert to Lucio Battisti and Lucio Dalla. Cultural events are also featured, such as a presentation by writer Sandro Campani at the Giardini del Turriglio, animated readings, board games, and the enchanting Notte Bianca delle Scuole (Schools' White Night).

A Village Festival in the Roero

The event is organized by Pro Loco Cinzano 91 APS, the driving force behind the village's social life, with the support of the Municipality of Santa Vittoria d'Alba and the patronage of the Province of Cuneo and the Piedmont Region. More than just an event, the Santa Paola Festival is an opportunity to reconnect: children, families, youth, and the elderly share the square, the tables, and the joy of being together, in one of the most genuine expressions of the popular traditions of the Langhe and Roero.
