Organized by the Pro Loco of Troia with the patronage of the Municipality, the event attracts families, curious visitors, and locals from across the Subappennino Dauno every year.

The heart of the festival is the Troian pizza fritta, a simple and delicious dough prepared according to traditional peasant recipes: the Pro Loco emphasizes the use of organic wheat flour and extra virgin olive oil from the hills surrounding the city. Fried to order and served hot in the early evening, these pizzas are the perfect excuse to rediscover the genuine flavors of Puglian 'cucina povera' while chatting in the square amidst the cozy atmosphere of a Daunian winter.

The Solidarity Market
