A week dedicated to wine and the food and wine culture of the Terre di Pisa
The Pisa Wine Week is the first structured event entirely dedicated to the wine and culinary culture of the Terre di Pisa. Promoted by the Consorzio Vini DOC Terre di Pisa and Confcommercio Pisa, with the support of the Municipality of Pisa, the Chamber of Commerce of North-West Tuscany, the Tuscany Region, and the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Pisa, the event debuts in 2026 with the goal of uniting the wine and restaurant sectors into an appointment capable of becoming a true brand and a recognizable tourist destination.
For an entire week, Pisa transforms into a stage for taste. The program is designed as a widespread journey that crosses the city's symbolic landmarks: the Arsenali Repubblicani, the Stazione Leopolda, the Chamber of Commerce headquarters, the Cisanello district, and, as a grand finale, the famous Ponte di Mezzo. Wineries, restaurants, and local associations host tastings, themed dinners, live music, and in-depth meetings, all with a single common thread: the pleasure of discovering the oenological excellence of the province of Pisa.
At the heart of the event are the Terre di Pisa DOC wines, a designation that tells the story of the oenological vocation of the province's hills. From Sangiovese-based reds to blends with international grape varieties, and even the most innovative productions, Pisa Wine Week offers a journey of discovery that intertwines farming tradition, research, and landscape. Tastings are accompanied by typical local products in a constant dialogue between the cellar and the kitchen.
Set in the Municipality of Pisa, in Tuscany, the Pisa Wine Week enhances the bond between the city of art and the countryside, between the Pisan monumental heritage and the farms of the hills. It is an event designed for both enthusiasts and visitors who want to combine the discovery of Pisan monuments with an authentic food and wine experience, enjoying the city in a convivial and festive atmosphere.
The first edition of the Pisa Wine Week animated the city from May 31 to June 7, 2026, with seven days dedicated to Terre di Pisa DOC wines. Highlights included I Pisani Piรน Schietti at the Arsenali Repubblicani with over twenty wineries, CantinaJazz at the Stazione Leopolda, the Flavors and Stories of the Terre di Pisa dinners in local restaurants, the Future of Wine conference, the Cisanello District festival, and the grand finale of the Dinner on the Bridge on the Ponte di Mezzo, at sunset over the Arno.
Pisa is easily reachable by train (Pisa Centrale station) and by car via the A11 and FI-PI-LI highways. The Galileo Galilei International Airport is just a few minutes from the center. Events take place in various locations around the city: Arsenali Repubblicani, Stazione Leopolda, Chamber of Commerce, Cisanello district, and Ponte di Mezzo.
Each event has a dedicated ticket: from the tasting at the Arsenali Repubblicani to themed dinners, and the Dinner on the Bridge. Some meetings, such as The Future of Wine, have free admission. Advance booking is recommended for dinners, as seats are limited.
Full program and reservations are available on the official website pisawineweek.it and on the social media channels of the Consorzio Vini DOC Terre di Pisa.
