The first Pisa Wine Week

The Pisa Wine Week is the first structured event entirely dedicated to the wine and culinary culture of the Terre di Pisa. Promoted by the Consorzio Vini DOC Terre di Pisa and Confcommercio Pisa, with the support of the Municipality of Pisa, the Chamber of Commerce of North-West Tuscany, the Tuscany Region, and the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Pisa, the event debuts in 2026 with the goal of uniting the wine and restaurant sectors into an appointment capable of becoming a true brand and a recognizable tourist destination.

A city-wide calendar

For an entire week, Pisa transforms into a stage for taste. The program is designed as a widespread journey that crosses the city's symbolic landmarks: the Arsenali Repubblicani, the Stazione Leopolda, the Chamber of Commerce headquarters, the Cisanello district, and, as a grand finale, the famous Ponte di Mezzo. Wineries, restaurants, and local associations host tastings, themed dinners, live music, and in-depth meetings, all with a single common thread: the pleasure of discovering the oenological excellence of the province of Pisa.

The 2026 program

• Sunday, May 31 – I Pisani Più Schietti (26th edition), at the Arsenali Repubblicani, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM: over twenty wineries offer unlimited tastings dedicated to the wines of the Pisan hills.
• Monday, June 1 – CantinaJazz, at the Stazione Leopolda: live jazz music paired with tastings of Terre di Pisa DOC wines.
• Wednesday, June 3 and Thursday, June 4 – Flavors and Stories of the Terre di Pisa: dinners in numerous selected restaurants in the province, featuring local dishes paired with DOC wines and direct meetings with producers.
• Friday, June 5 – The Future of Wine, at the Chamber of Commerce: a discussion on sustainability, climate change, sustainability, and wine communication, with free admission.
• Saturday, June 6 – The Cisanello District: tastings, local flavors, and live music outdoors, from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
• Sunday, June 7 – The Dinner on the Bridge, on the Ponte di Mezzo: the grand finale with Pisan cuisine and DOC wines served at sunset on the Arno river.

Terre di Pisa DOC wines

At the heart of the event are the Terre di Pisa DOC wines, a designation that tells the story of the oenological vocation of the province's hills. From Sangiovese-based reds to blends with international grape varieties, and even the most innovative productions, Pisa Wine Week offers a journey of discovery that intertwines farming tradition, research, and landscape. Tastings are accompanied by typical local products in a constant dialogue between the cellar and the kitchen.

An event for the city and the territory

Set in the Municipality of Pisa, in Tuscany, the Pisa Wine Week enhances the bond between the city of art and the countryside, between the Pisan monumental heritage and the farms of the hills. It is an event designed for both enthusiasts and visitors who want to combine the discovery of Pisan monuments with an authentic food and wine experience, enjoying the city in a convivial and festive atmosphere.
