The widespread salon of artisanal wines from the Alpine arc in the Piana Rotaliana
In 2026, the historic Vinifera salon, a benchmark for enthusiasts of artisanal wines from the Alpine arc, undergoes a profound renewal to become FuoriVinifera. For the first time, the event moves out of the Trento exhibition halls and relocates to Mezzocorona, in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), adopting a widespread and immersive format that engages with the vineyard landscape of the Piana Rotaliana Königsberg. Promoted by the Centrifuga Association, founded in Rovereto to promote Alpine agri-food heritage, the festival abandons the traditional exhibition stand model to invite the public to wander through the village's wineries, courtyards, and palaces.
The heart of FuoriVinifera is spread across three locations in the municipality of Mezzocorona, all within walking distance. The historic Cantina A. Martinelli 1860 hosts over seventy tasting tables; the former fire station, next to the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, welcomes local producers and the Teroldego Evolution association; the courtyard of Palazzo Martini showcases the Convinti community of biodynamic winemakers from South Tyrol. The church square completes the itinerary, turning the entire town center into a path of discovery.
The protagonists are over one hundred independent winemakers and artisanal producers from the Italian Alpine arc and transalpine territories. Alongside mountain wines, visitors will find gastronomic offerings, artisanal ciders, craft beers, and local products. There is no shortage of FuoriFocus thematic sessions, dedicated to the wines of Mamoiada, the Piana Rotaliana, and the South Tyrolean Convinti community, along with masterclasses, meetings, live music, crafts, and photography exhibitions curated in collaboration with the Baba Cultural Association.
With FuoriVinifera, the organizers aim for a more intimate and authentic relationship with mountain wine culture, understood as an expression of the territory and artisanal craftsmanship. The event confirms Mezzocorona and the Piana Rotaliana as one of the capitals of Trentino wine, during a weekend that combines tasting, landscape, and the oenological heritage of the Alpine arc.
The seventh edition of the historic Vinifera salon presents itself with a new name and a new format: FuoriVinifera, scheduled for Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, 2026, in Mezzocorona. The event is spread across three locations in the village: the Cantina A. Martinelli 1860 with over seventy tasting tables, the courtyard of Palazzo Martini with the South Tyrolean biodynamic winemakers Convinti, and the former fire station near the Church of Santa Maria Assunta with local producers and Teroldego Evolution.
Over one hundred producers from the Alpine arc offer wines, ciders, and craft beers along with gastronomic specialties. The program includes FuoriFocus sessions (dedicated to the wines of Mamoiada, the Piana Rotaliana, and the Convinti community), masterclasses, live music, crafts, and photography exhibitions.
