Chocomoments, the artisan chocolate festival in Folgaria

Chocomoments is the traveling festival dedicated to artisan chocolate that, in one of its most delicious stops, arrives in Folgaria, on the Alpe Cimbra plateau in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). For an entire weekend, the central Piazza Marconi turns into a true "Chocolate Factory," filled with the scent of cocoa and brought to life by master chocolatiers from all over Italy.

The exhibition-market

The heart of the event is the exhibition-market featuring stalls from artisan chocolatiers, typically open from 10 am to 8 pm. Visitors can find pralines, milk and dark chocolate bars, flavored chocolates, spreads, and cocoa-based liqueurs: a gourmet journey designed for curious foodies and enthusiasts, with the opportunity to taste and buy directly from the producers.

Workshops, courses, and cooking shows

The program combines entertainment with gourmet education:

• ChocoBaby: the space dedicated to children, usually open in the afternoon, where little ones—equipped with aprons, hats, and real chocolatier tools—prepare their own chocolates (paid activity, short duration).
• Mini-praline courses for adults: in the morning, enthusiasts learn how to make pralines under the guidance of Chocomoments masters (limited spots, by reservation).
• Cooking shows and demonstrations: events where chocolatiers reveal the secrets of chocolate making.

The ten-meter chocolate bar

The most spectacular moment is the live creation of a ten-meter-long chocolate bar, built in real-time by master chocolatiers and then offered for free tasting to everyone present: a classic feature of the event that draws large crowds every year.

Set in one of the most well-known tourist destinations in Trentino, Chocomoments in Folgaria combines a passion for artisan chocolate with the charm of the mountains: a perfect opportunity to pair a trip to the Alpe Cimbra with a delicious weekend, suitable for families and quality product lovers.
