ViniPendenti – Natural Wine Festival is a major fair and celebration dedicated to artisanal wines, held at the Stazione Leopolda in Pisa, in the heart of Tuscany. Established in 2023, the event has quickly become a benchmark for the natural wine scene in the municipality of Pisa, successfully blending the professional atmosphere of a trade fair with the festive, popular spirit of a local village feast.

The philosophy of natural wine

The core of ViniPendenti is its independent winemakers: small-scale producers who cultivate their vineyards without chemical pesticides or fertilizers and craft their wine with minimal intervention, avoiding additives and preservatives. The festival promotes values of sustainability, environmental respect, and product quality, highlighting viticulture that is attentive to the local terroir. It is the perfect opportunity to speak directly with the people who make the wine, discover hard-to-find labels, and understand what lies behind every glass.

Who participates

Each edition brings together over 70 winemakers from Tuscany, many other Italian regions, and various European countries, alongside specialized distributors. Alongside historic Tuscan producers, the fair hosts wineries from across the peninsula, offering visitors a broad and diverse overview of Italian natural wine production.

Tastings, music, and food

ViniPendenti is more than just tastings. Throughout the three days, the Stazione Leopolda is filled with food trucks and gourmet stands, while evenings feature live concerts and DJ sets that keep the party going until late at night. On Saturday and Sunday, tasting booths remain open from morning until early evening, while Monday is primarily dedicated to Ho.Re.Ca. professionals, restaurateurs, and oenologists.

The setting is the Stazione Leopolda, a historic 19th-century building just a short walk from the center of Pisa, now a multifunctional space for cultural events.
