A journey through the traditional flavors of Sicily in Mazara del Vallo
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
The Triskele Food Festival is a culinary event that transforms Piazza Mokarta, one of the oldest and most significant squares in Mazara del Vallo, into a grand journey through traditional Sicilian flavors. Organized by the Associazione Artigianando in collaboration with Event Production and under the patronage of the Municipality of Mazara del Vallo, the festival was created to bring Sicily and its gastronomic heritage together in one space, giving a voice to small-scale producers and local food artisans.
Throughout the event, the square hosts wooden stalls and booths managed by food masters and culinary artisans, each offering characteristic products from their place of origin. The festival's philosophy prioritizes farm-to-table and small local businesses over mass production: oils, wines, preserves, and traditional dishes tell the story of the identity of every territory in the province of Trapani and across the entire island.
The Triskele Food Festival program features cooking shows with two chefs dedicated to reviving forgotten recipes typical of the Mazara del Vallo area, in a continuous dialogue between memory and contemporary cuisine. The evenings are also accompanied by street performer shows, making the atmosphere even more festive and family-friendly.
The festival is part of the rich Mazara Summer calendar and takes place during the Festino di San Vito, the city's patron saint, helping to animate the historic center of Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, with an event deeply rooted in local identity. Admission is free, and the evening schedule, running from late afternoon until late at night, makes it the perfect setting for a summer stroll filled with taste and conviviality.
The dates and program for the 2026 edition of the Triskele Food Festival have not yet been officially confirmed. As this is a young event, established in 2025 in Mazara del Vallo (province of Trapani), any return in the summer of 2026 will be communicated by the Associazione Artigianando and the Municipality in the months leading up to the event. To stay updated on dates and details, we recommend following the organizers' official channels.
