In the heart of autumn, when the new oil flows from the mills and the new wine is ready, the Municipality of Petrosino—a small agricultural town in the province of Trapani overlooking the western coast of Sicily—dedicates a full day to the two products that have always defined its territory: olive oil and wine. The Oil and Wine Festival is a traditional event that highlights the beauty and richness of local customs.

The event is promoted by AUSER Petrosino, a volunteer association committed to community development and the preservation of traditions, with the support and patronage of the local municipal administration. Numerous local associations participate in the festival, reflecting the spirit of unity and sharing that characterizes the Petrosino community.
