Polenta, the queen of the alpine table

In Alta Valle Camonica, at an altitude of 1,150 meters, the municipality of Temù (province of Brescia) dedicates an entire festival to polenta, a signature dish of mountain cuisine. For three consecutive weekends, the town's restaurants transform polenta into a journey through traditional flavors, each with its own interpretation.

A shared menu among the restaurants

The heart of the event is a fixed menu at 25 euros (drinks excluded) offered by participating restaurants, each with a different pairing: from stew with eggs, mushrooms, and melted cheese to braised meat, from sausage to venison. This formula allows you to discover the versatility of polenta by visiting different establishments.

Markets and entertainment in the square

Alongside the dining, Piazza Pellegrinaggio hosts craft markets on weekends, open Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and entertainment shows for families. The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Temù, founded with the aim of preserving and enhancing the local culinary heritage by transforming it into a moment of community gathering.

Six of the town's restaurants offer a fixed menu at 25 euros dedicated to polenta, while Piazza Pellegrinaggio hosts craft markets (Saturday and Sunday 10:00 AM-7:00 PM) and shows by Mago Acky on the first two weekends.
