Wooden chalets, local crafts, and Trentino flavors in Piazza Carera
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Every year, during the Advent season, the historic center of Pinzolo, in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), dresses up to host its traditional Christmas Markets. The event brings Piazza Carera to life—the beating heart of the town at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites—filling it with wooden chalets, sparkling lights, and the warm aroma of mulled wine.
The market is set up around wooden chalets showcasing local handicrafts, handmade Christmas decorations, gift ideas, and traditional products from the Trentino region. Strolling among the stalls, visitors can discover mountain culinary traditions and the creations of Val Rendena artisans in an intimate, family-friendly atmosphere perfect for all ages.
Pinzolo, along with nearby Madonna di Campiglio, is one of the most renowned tourist destinations in western Trentino. During the holidays, the town lights up, and the markets become a gathering point for both residents and ski enthusiasts. Admission is completely free, and the event runs throughout the Christmas period, from early December until Epiphany.
The event is promoted by the Pro Loco of Pinzolo with the support of the Municipality of Pinzolo and the Brenta Dolomites Tourist Board. Originally created to enliven the town center during the holidays, it has become a staple of the Val Rendena winter calendar, blending tradition, craftsmanship, and the warm hospitality typical of Alpine communities in Trentino.
The 2026 Pinzolo Christmas Markets do not yet have an official schedule. The edition is expected to follow the usual format in Piazza Carera, with wooden chalets dedicated to crafts and local products, festive lights, and mulled wine in the heart of Val Rendena. Dates and opening hours will be communicated by the Pro Loco of Pinzolo in the months leading up to the holidays.
