A local festival entirely dedicated to the truffle

In Sieci, a village in the municipality of Pontassieve in the province of Florence, spring brings one of the most anticipated gastronomic events in the Valdisieve area: the Truffle Specialty Festival. For two consecutive weekends, the headquarters of the S.M.S. Croce Azzurra, located in Piazza Sergio Chiari, opens its doors to those looking to indulge in a series of dishes where the prized Tuscan tuber is the absolute protagonist.

The menu is entirely designed around the truffle, carefully prepared by the association's volunteers. Among the dishes available to taste are:

Croce Azzurra donates the proceeds of the initiative to the purchase of vehicles for local social and health services.
