Sapori & Mestieri – Brisce de Corposano is the fair that celebrates autumn and its fruits in San Giustino (Perugia). The stars are the 'brisce', chestnuts harvested from the centuries-old chestnut groves of the village of Corposano, a symbol of the gastronomy and traditions of the Upper Tiber Valley area.
The Village of Taste and ancient crafts
The event takes place in Piazza del Municipio, the streets and public gardens of the town center, and the prestigious Castello Bufalini, where the Village of Taste comes alive in the cloister with tastings and local products. Alongside the flavors, the festival highlights ancient traditional crafts and artisan work, involving local schools, associations, and artisans.
Gatherings, conferences, and local culture
The program combines gastronomy and culture: gatherings of historic vehicles (from the Vespa Club to vintage tractors), tasting dinners, conferences on agriculture ('A new idea of agriculture'), and visits to the Tobacco Museum. Promoted by the Accademia Enogastronomica della Valtiberina and the Cooperativa Sangiustinese along with local cultural institutions, the fair is an autumn event that tells the identity of San Giustino and the Upper Tiber Valley.

The 2026 edition of Sapori & Mestieri – Brisce de Corposano takes place from October 23 to 25. The autumn fair brings back to San Giustino the 'brisce', the chestnuts from the centuries-old groves of Corposano, with food stalls in Piazza del Municipio and the Village of Taste in the cloister of Castello Bufalini.
