With the 'Gubbio è Natale' initiative, one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Umbria is wrapped in the festive atmosphere for over a month. The village of Gubbio, in the province of Perugia, becomes a large, spread-out Christmas park, attracting visitors from all over Italy.
The programme combines numerous attractions in the historic centre:
To top it all off, there is the World's Largest Christmas Tree, which lights up on Mount Ingino and becomes the spectacular backdrop for Gubbio's entire Christmas period.
The 2026 edition of 'Gubbio è Natale' envelops the village from November 21, 2026, to January 6, 2027. The Christmas Markets in Piazza Quaranta Martiri offer local products, crafts, and decorations, while the covered village of ChristmasLand provides a themed experience for children and families. The offer is completed by the ice-skating rink, the Great North Pole Ferris Wheel, the Gubbio Express train, Santa's sleigh, and nativity scenes. The backdrop is the unmistakable World's Largest Christmas Tree illuminating Mount Ingino.
The schedule includes openings on the weekends in November and then a continuous period during the holidays until Epiphany. Based on the established programme, the main attractions are:
The detailed programme with dates and times for each attraction is updated on the official website gubbionatale.it.
