The fair showcasing the food, wine, and craft excellence of Lazio in Collepardo
Saperi & Sapori - Lazio Regional Excellence Fair is a food and wine event that brings the village of Collepardo, in the province of Frosinone, to life every late June. Hosted in the heart of the town at the Giardini Oreste Cicalé, the fair is dedicated to discovering the best of the Lazio Region's agri-food, craft, and cultural heritage. In just a few editions, it has established itself as one of the most popular events in the area, drawing thousands of visitors.
The heart of the event lies in the stalls featuring typical Lazio products, where visitors can discover and taste local specialties while meeting the producers and companies dedicated to preserving regional excellence. Cheeses, cured meats, olive oils, honey, preserves, wines, and desserts showcase the richness of a region with a thousand gastronomic traditions, from the Ciociaria area to the rest of Lazio.
Alongside the tastings, the program offers show cooking with local professionals, guided tastings, and moments of cultural insight. Significant space is dedicated to craftsmanship and ancient trades, with exhibitions that keep the memory of traditional techniques alive. There is also entertainment for all ages, making the fair a perfect outing for families.
Saperi & Sapori was born with the goal of promoting quality production, traditions, and the identity of Lazio's territories. The event is realized with the support of the Lazio Region and ARSIAL (Regional Agency for the Development and Innovation of Agriculture in Lazio), thanks to the collaboration of municipalities and local entities. Each edition also hosts a debate dedicated to "Made in Lazio," bringing together institutions, producers, and trade associations.
The fair is set in Collepardo, a small town nestled in the Ernici Mountains, famous for the nearby Certosa di Trisulti and the striking Collepardo Caves with the Pozzo d'Antullo. Visiting Saperi & Sapori is therefore also an opportunity to discover one of the most authentic corners of the Ciociaria and inland Lazio, blending nature, history, and fine dining.
The fourth edition of Saperi & Sapori brought Collepardo to life on June 27 and 28, 2026, confirming its status as one of the main showcases for Lazio's excellence. At the Giardini Oreste Cicalé, visitors were able to discover and taste typical regional agri-food products, meeting producers and local companies directly.
The program featured stalls of typical Lazio products, show cooking with local professionals, guided tastings, crafts and ancient trades, as well as entertainment for all ages. The highlight was on Sunday, June 28, at 5:30 PM with the talk "Meeting of Knowledge of Made in Lazio in Collepardo", moderated by journalist Alessandra Mori, which brought together institutions, producers, and trade associations.
