The Sagra dei Vincisgrassi is one of the most beloved food and wine events of the Osimo summer. It takes place every late June at the Piazzale Europa, in the Osimo Sud district, and is organized by the Parrocchia Sacra Famiglia (Sacred Family Parish) with the patronage of the Comune di Osimo (Municipality of Osimo). For four days, the festival enlivens this corner of the city in the province of Ancona, in the Marche region, with food stalls, music, and entertainment for all ages.

The absolute star of the festival is the region's most representative baked pasta dish: vincisgrassi. It is a rich and hearty dish, prepared with layers of fresh egg pasta alternated with a flavorful mixed meat ragù, béchamel sauce, and abundant cheese, then baked until golden. Similar to lasagna but with its own distinct and ancient identity, vincisgrassi represents Marche's festive cuisine, a traditional dish that in Osimo is prepared according to recipes passed down through local families.

The Sagra dei Vincisgrassi is much more than a gastronomic event: it is a community celebration that attracts residents and visitors from all over the area.
