When July arrives, the hamlet of Casenuove di Osimo, in the Province of Ancona, comes alive for the Festa della Sangria, one of the most beloved events in the rich summer calendar of the Municipality of Osimo. Reaching its 27th edition in 2026, the festival is now a well-established tradition: three days of music, dancing, and conviviality along via Monte San Vicino, where food stalls, dance floors, and sangria corners animate the entire hamlet until late at night.
Music, dancing, and sangria galore
The heart of the Festa della Sangria is dance music: every evening, orchestras take the main stage for ballroom dancing and group dances, while in a dedicated area, the disco corner offers afro, dance, house, and the great hits of the '70s and '80s. Next to the dance floor, food stalls serve dishes of traditional Marche cuisine and Spanish-themed specialties, above all paella, to be paired with the undisputed star of the event: sangria, served abundantly in all its variations.

The festival is organized by the Consorzio Case9 with the patronage of the Municipality of Osimo, as part of the official calendar of Osimo festivals and sagre (food festivals).

The 2026 edition of the Festa della Sangria, the 27th, confirms the formula that has made the Casenuove di Osimo festival famous: three consecutive evenings, from July 3 to 5, dedicated to dance music, good food, and the convivial spirit of the Marche hamlet.
Each evening, the main stage hosts orchestras for ballroom dancing and group dances, while the disco corner offers afro, dance, house, and hits from the '70s and '80s. Food stalls serve local specialties and paella, accompanied by the unmissable sangria. Admission is free, and the event opens at 7:00 PM.

Evening structure

How to get there
Casenuove is a hamlet of Osimo (AN), in the Marche region. By car, from Ancona it can be reached in about 20 minutes via the SS16 and provincial roads towards Osimo; recommended highway exit is Ancona Sud (A14). The festival takes place along via Monte San Vicino.
