About Caffè Teatro

Caffè Teatro is the summer review of Polverigi (province of Ancona) that mixes cabaret, live music, stories and tales, toasts and local flavors under the Marche sky. Born in 2024, the format by Associazione Inteatro and the Municipality of Polverigi returns in 2026 for its third season: a free opening evening in Piazza Umberto I and then the show evenings in the setting of Villa Nappi, hosted by Maurizio Socci.

An evening of theatre, music and conviviality in Polverigi

Caffè Teatro is the summer review that enlivens the village of Polverigi, in the province of Ancona, in the heart of the Marche region. It is not a classic theatre season, but a hybrid format that combines cabaret, live music, interviews, life stories, and convivial moments, all experienced outdoors, under the stars of the Marche hinterland. The formula is that of a lounge under the stars: guests sharing their stories, musical interludes, laughter, and a final toast, in an informal atmosphere that has won over the audience since its first edition in 2024.

Where it takes place: Villa Nappi and Piazza Umberto I

The natural home of the review is Villa Nappi, a historic residence in Polverigi overlooking the hills, where the open-air arena for the show evenings is set up. However, the event also opens its doors to the centre of the village, with free admission events in Piazza Umberto I, on the parvis of Sant'Antonino. This dual soul — the historic villa on one side, the village square on the other — is one of the most recognizable features of Caffè Teatro.

The format and the protagonists

The evenings are hosted by journalist Maurizio Socci, a familiar face on èTV Marche, accompanied by a team that changes from season to season. The musical direction is entrusted to Paolo Principi, while the female voice for the third edition is the singer and teacher Rosa Sorice. Past editions have featured guests from the worlds of sport, entertainment, and culture, as well as testimonies related to social issues, solidarity, and the courage to live, a theme that has given the review a very specific identity.

A review supported by the territory

Caffè Teatro is organized by the Associazione Inteatro together with the Municipality of Polverigi and the local Pro Loco. Over the years, the format has become rooted in the summer life of the village, recording repeated sell-outs at Villa Nappi and becoming one of the most anticipated events of the cultural summer in the province of Ancona. For its third season, the event also enjoys full television coverage by èTV Marche, which records and broadcasts the evenings on its channels.

Why it's worth it

  • Outdoor performances in a historic Marche residence.
  • A unique mix of cabaret, music, stories, and local flavors.
  • Free opening evening in the square, in the heart of the village of Polverigi.
  • Guests from the worlds of entertainment, sport, and life stories.

A novelty for the season is the full television coverage by èTV Marche, with evenings recorded and broadcast on channels 12 and 17.
