About That's All Folk

That's All Folk is the new community festival launching in 2026 at the Green Area of Cantalupo, a hamlet of Filottrano, in the province of Ancona. Three free evenings, spread between May and July, restore the word "folk" to its most authentic meaning: community, warmth, belonging, and sharing. Featuring live music, folk dances, food, street performances, and activities for children, the event reinterprets the traditions of the Marche region with contemporary approaches capable of engaging all generations.

A New Festival for the Cantalupo Community

That's All Folk debuts in 2026 as a new, widespread festival at the Cantalupo Green Area, a hamlet of Filottrano, in the heart of the province of Ancona and the Marche Region. The initiative, promoted by the theatre company Asini Bardasci along with the Route362 kiosk team and with the patronage of the Municipality of Filottrano, aims to transform a green space into a place for meeting, celebration, and participation, open to families, young people, and residents of all ages.

The Meaning of "Folk"

The festival seeks to celebrate the territory and its popular traditions, reinterpreting them through contemporary languages and forms of entertainment that can engage all generations. At its core are conviviality, music, food, performances, and activities for children, with the desire to rediscover the most authentic meaning of the word folk: community, belonging, and shared warmth.

Three Evenings Between May and July

The inaugural edition is structured into three events at the Cantalupo Green Area: Saturday, May 24, Sunday, June 21, and Sunday, July 19, 2026. Each evening offers a program of music, dances, games, and performances for all ages, accompanied by food stalls managed by the Route362 kiosk.

Music, Folk Dances, and Performances

The first event set the tone for the festival with a rich entertainment offering:

  • Food and conviviality with the Green Area's food stalls;
  • Children's entertainment by Truppa Sorrisi;
  • Clowning and juggling show with Damiano Masseccesi;
  • Terra Mater concert, blending folk and contemporary sounds;
  • Folk dances with the "Quelli dell'Ara" association.

The evenings of June 21 and July 19 continue in the same spirit with new performances, music, games, and entertainment for adults and children alike.

A Free Event for Everyone

Admission to That's All Folk is free. The festival is part of the summer calendar for the Municipality of Filottrano and aims to become a regular event for the Cantalupo community and the entire area, combining Marche traditions, folk music, and new forms of social interaction.
