Who organises it

The market is organised by Teor Eventi in collaboration with Confartigianato Imprese Ancona-Pesaro e Urbino and with the patronage of the Municipality of Ancona. The municipal administration has recognised the event as a local fair of promotional value for the city and for the commercial activities in the centre. Admission is always free and the event takes place on weekends, with several editions spread throughout the year.

Experiencing the market is also an excellent excuse to stroll through the centre of Ancona, the capital of the Marche region overlooking the Adriatic Sea. From Piazza Cavour, Corso Garibaldi and the shopping streets are easily accessible, while the port, the Cathedral of San Ciriaco, and the Mole Vanvitelliana tell the long Doric history. The market is one of the events that, along with other markets and trade fairs in the centre, mark the city's event calendar from spring to autumn.
