The Riffiner Dorfmarktl is the characteristic village market of the municipality of Riffian (Rifiano), a small hamlet in the Passeier Valley nestled on the lower slopes above Merano, in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Trentino-South Tyrol. This is a community-scale event, far from the major tourist crowds, designed to showcase local craftsmanship and regional farm products.

When and where

The market takes place every first Wednesday of the month during August, September, and October, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. It is held at the Festplatz in Riffian, along Passeirer Straße, in the heart of the village. Admission is free, and the atmosphere is that of a relaxed community festival, with background music accompanying your stroll through the stalls in the late afternoon.
