The flavor market of the Passeier Valley

The Mårtiner Genuss Marktl is a monthly event that transforms the center of St. Martin in Passeier, in the province of Bolzano (South Tyrol), into a vibrant farmers' and craft market featuring local, zero-mile products. Every first Saturday of the month, from March to November, the village's Festplatz fills with stalls showcasing the authenticity and culinary culture of the Passeier Valley.

Genuine alpine and valley products

At the heart of the event are the region's typical flavors: honey, alpine cheeses, speck, local wine and beer, as well as fresh bread, homemade pasta, Tyrolean krapfen, and fragrant apple strudel. Visitors can taste and purchase directly from the producers in a convivial atmosphere that combines daily shopping with the pleasure of discovering genuine specialties.

Crafts and herbal products

Alongside the gastronomy, the market highlights traditional South Tyrolean craftsmanship: felt items, wood carvings, and decorations created by local artisans. There is also a wide selection of mountain herbal products, such as creams, ointments, scented pillows, and natural herbal teas prepared with herbs from the valley.
