The Monatsmarkt in Sarnthein is the monthly market of the municipality of Sarentino/Sarntal, the heart of the Sarntal Valley, one of the most authentic and secluded valleys in South Tyrol, in the province of Bolzano. On select days between May and November, the town centre transforms into a lively meeting point where street vendors and local producers set up their stalls.

Where it takes place

The stalls occupy the Runggenerstraße car park and Griesplatz, in the heart of Sarnthein. The market is held in the morning, from 08:00 to 13:00, allowing time for shopping and village socialising before noon.
