RHS – Ristora Hotel Sicilia is the leading professional trade show for the Ho.Re.Ca. (Hotellerie, Restaurant, Café) sector in Southern Italy. The event takes place annually at the SiciliaFiera exhibition center, located at Corso Carlo Marx 19 in Misterbianco, within the Catania metropolitan area. For over twenty years, it has served as a key reference point for restaurateurs, hoteliers, pastry chefs, gelato makers, pizza chefs, baristas, buyers, and distributors from Sicily, Calabria, Malta, and the entire South of Italy.
Organized by Expo Mediterraneo, an entity linked to Confcommercio Catania, the trade show brings together over one hundred exhibiting companies divided into the main sectors of professional hospitality:
The stands feature raw materials, technologies, machinery, furnishings, and services for the sector, with growing attention to sustainability, digitalization, and training as competitive levers for businesses.
The RHS calendar is marked by masterclasses held by nationally renowned chefs and masters, professional competitions, and networking opportunities for operators. Over the years, famous names in Italian pastry and cuisine have graced the stage, alongside competitions dedicated to young local professionals: pizza contests, butcher competitions, awards for Sicilian confectionery, and signature burger challenges. The fair is also an opportunity for charity initiatives aimed at local communities.
With tens of thousands of professional visitors at each edition, RHS is one of the most important B2B events in the Sicilian trade fair calendar. Its location in Misterbianco, a municipality adjacent to Catania and easily accessible from Eastern Sicily, makes it the ideal crossroads for those operating in the hospitality industry of the Sicily Region. The event contributes to promoting the island's food and wine excellence and connecting producers, artisans, and tourism and catering operators.
From February 22 to 25, 2026, SiciliaFiera in Misterbianco hosted the twenty-first edition of RHS, which concluded with over 15,000 visitors and more than one hundred exhibiting brands distributed across the eight sectors of professional hospitality.
Among the protagonists of the masterclasses were Luca Montersino (pastry and viennoiserie), Giuseppe Amato on coffee, and the Michelin-starred chef Riccardo Sculli. The competition calendar was rich: the first RHS Burger League with eleven professionals, the young butchers' contest (Federcarni), the 7th edition of the Premio Condorelli dedicated to Sicilian confectionery, the "Iris: tradition meets innovation" competition, and the Pizza Mystery Box Trophy by the Italian Pizza Makers Association. There was also space for the charity initiative "Mani che donano Sicilia" in support of the Niscemi community.
