The Rosignano Solvay Fish Festival

Pesce in Festa is one of the most anticipated food festivals of the summer on the Etruscan Coast. It takes place in Rosignano Solvay, a bustling coastal district of the Municipality of Rosignano Marittimo, in the province of Livorno (Tuscany), in the central Piazza Monte alla Rena, just a short walk from the seafront. The event is organized by the local Pro Loco in collaboration with the town's districts and attracts residents and vacationers from along the Livorno coast every year.

The heart of the festival is the large kitchen serving dishes from the Livorno maritime tradition. Specialties served at the stalls include:

• the famous cacciucco, the fish soup that is the symbol of Livorno;
