Karts speed through the streets of Camporeale for a round of the National Trophy
The National Kart Trophy – City Circuits arrives in Camporeale, a small town in the province of Palermo, Sicily, transforming the streets of the town center into a competition circuit. The event is part of the national City Circuits calendar promoted by Karting Sicilia and represents one of the most anticipated stages for motorsport enthusiasts in Southern Italy.
The course, carved out of the town's streets, is considered one of the most technical and evocative in the national landscape: tight corners, rhythm changes, fast straights, and tricky sections test the skill and concentration of the drivers. Racing between the houses and squares of Camporeale offers a unique spectacle, where the public follows the races just a few meters from the karts, protected by barriers and safety measures set up for the occasion.
The competition includes numerous kart categories, from youth classes to the most powerful ones. Admitted categories usually include:
Each class competes in timed trials and finals, with rankings valid for the National Trophy.
The event takes place over two days: Saturday is dedicated to sporting checks, circuit setup, and free practice sessions; Sunday brings the action to life with registrations, official timed trials, finals, and the final award ceremony. Surrounding the races is a festive atmosphere that involves the entire town, with the support of the Municipality of Camporeale, which sponsors the event.
The event is organized by Karting Sicilia in collaboration with ACI Sport, under the patronage of the Municipality of Camporeale. Safety is guaranteed by track marshals, medical staff, and volunteers along the entire route.
The 2026 edition in Camporeale represented the second round of the “City Circuits” National Trophy, following the success of the 2025 inaugural stage. The program took place over two days:
