Colori nel Vento - Kite Festival is the new event dedicated to kites that brings the Spiaggia Playa of Castellammare del Golfo, a coastal town in the province of Trapani, Sicily, to life. From September 10th to 13th, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, the long stretch of sand overlooking the Gulf fills with colorful sails taking advantage of the early autumn sea breeze, when the days are still warm but the peak summer season has passed.

Four days on Spiaggia Playa

Spiaggia Playa is one of the most spacious and luminous settings on the Castellammare coast: a sandy expanse ideal for flying kites of all sizes, from acrobatic creations to large inflatable figures. For four days, the sky above the sea becomes a moving palette, with demonstrations, free flights, and moments designed for audiences of all ages. The continuous schedule, from morning to night, allows visitors to enjoy the event both under the sun and during the golden hours of sunset.

An event for families and enthusiasts

The festival has a deeply popular and family-oriented soul: kites have always been a universal language that brings children and adults together.
