The Elves' Village at the Urban Park

In the heart of the holiday season, the Urban Park of Montelepre becomes the Elves' Village, one of the most beloved events in the town's winter calendar. Set up by the Associazione Armiggiusi, led by Antonio Rizzo, the village recreates the magical atmosphere of the North Pole with wooden cottages, fairy lights, and installations that are refreshed every year to delight both children and adults.

The trail features highlights such as Santa's house, reindeer and sleighs, creative workshops, and craft stalls, along with illuminated scenery designed especially for children. Opening in the late afternoon, usually from 5:00 PM, the village serves as a gathering point for families from Montelepre and neighboring towns in the Province of Palermo.

A Christmas celebration throughout the town

The Elves' Village is the centerpiece of a wider Christmas program that brings Montelepre to life until Epiphany. The town center and iconic landmarks, such as the Torre Ventimiglia and Piazza Ventimiglia with its Christmas tree, are adorned with lights, while the community hosts various traditional and musical events.

• Living Nativity in the evocative Vicolo della Torre, organized by the local parish youth.
• Nativity Exhibition in the Crypt of Santa Rosalia, open throughout the holiday season.
• Christmas and sacred music concerts in the town's churches, including the Mother Church and the Church of Santa Rosalia.
• Arrival of the Three Wise Men on Epiphany, a special moment for the little ones.

The Sfincia Festival

Closing the festivities on Epiphany is the historic Sfincia Festival, organized by the A.T.M.A. Association at Piazzale Portella della Ginestra. Now in its twenty-fifth year, it offers tastings of the traditional local pastry and remains one of the most cherished gastronomic events in Montelepre.
