The Maltagliati Festival is one of the most cherished culinary celebrations in the Anagni area, located in the Province of Frosinone, Lazio. The star dish: maltagliati with beans

At the heart of the festival is a humble and authentic dish from the local peasant tradition: maltagliati with beans. This handmade pasta, cut into irregular shapes (hence the name 'maltagliati' or 'badly cut'), is served with a rich bean sauce following a recipe passed down through generations. Alongside this signature dish, food stalls offer assorted sandwiches, local delicacies, and other traditional preparations, all paired with great beer and local wines.
