Italian singer-songwriter classics go eco-friendly in the lush setting of Tesiland Park in Cherasco
In the lush greenery of Tesiland Park, in Roreto di Cherasco, Italian songwriting meets sustainability. The Italian Spirit Trio concert is part of the Green Music festival, an initiative dedicated to performances in natural settings with a low environmental impact, powered by renewable energy and featuring reduced amplification. The goal is clear: to combine artistic quality, environmental sustainability, and local promotion in a Piedmontese town that strongly believes in culture as a tool for dialogue between people, the land, and the environment.
Three highly experienced musicians take the stage: Marco Vezzoso on trumpet, Alessandro Collina on piano, and Andrea Marchesini on drums. The Italian Spirit project was born from the idea of instrumentally reinterpreting the great classics of Italian songwriting: the trumpet takes the place of the voice, transforming beloved melodies into jazz, classical, and world music sounds. This unique approach has led the group to perform on international tours, from Europe to Japan, bringing an ever-growing audience closer to jazz and instrumental music.
Tesiland Park, located at Via Savigliano 48 in Roreto di Cherasco, is a public natural space that reclaimed an area previously linked to the Tesisquare group. The choice of location is no coincidence: the green environment reinforces the festival's ecological message and offers an intimate and evocative setting for live music. In case of bad weather, the concert will move to the Church of San Gregorio, at Via dell'Ospedale 25, in the center of Cherasco.
With this evening, the Green Music festival arrives for the first time in the province of Cuneo, with events linked to the Tanaro River and the territories of Cherasco, Santo Stefano Roero, Bastia di Mondovรฌ, and Guarene. The initiative is supported by the Fondazione CRC and in collaboration with Tesisquare, confirming a strong network between institutions, businesses, and cultural associations in the Piedmont region.
