I Suoni della Pietra is a summer concert series that weaves together music, historic sites, and landscapes, turning the Stone Villages of the Langhe and the Asti Langa into a sprawling, open-air stage. Among the towns on the bill is Torre Bormida, a small village in the Alta Langa area of the Province of Cuneo, where events are held in the heart of the town, in Piazza Michele Ferrero.
The event, promoted by the Municipality of Bergolo and supported by local towns, runs throughout the summer and involves around twenty historic villages across the provinces of Cuneo, Asti, and Alessandria. The program brings together over two hundred artists, ranging from internationally renowned names to emerging young talents, for a total of about thirty high-level performances. The artistic direction is entrusted to Maestro Mauro Pavese, a respected trumpeter, who curates a selection that spans various genres and styles.

The 2026 season of I Suoni della Pietra is confirmed from June 21 to September 13, 2026, with events spread across twenty historic villages between the provinces of Cuneo, Asti, and Alessandria: Bergolo, Bubbio, Castelletto Uzzone, Cessole, Cinaglio, Costigliole d'Asti, Denice, Levice, Loazzolo, Monastero Bormida, Monesiglio, Montafia, Montechiaro d'Acqui, Niella Belbo, Olmo Gentile, Pezzolo Valle Uzzone, Roccaverano, Settime, Torre Bormida, and Vesime.
The lineup includes over 205 artists, ranging from international stars to new talents, and more than 30 performances of classical music, jazz, world music, dance, and singer-songwriter music, under the direction of Maestro Mauro Pavese. The exact date and program for the show in Torre Bormida have not yet been published: they will be made available on the official channels of the Municipality of Torre Bormida and the Municipality of Bergolo in the weeks leading up to the event.
Torre Bormida is located in the Alta Langa, in the Province of Cuneo. By car, it can be reached from the A6 Turin-Savona motorway (Ceva exit) or the A33 Asti-Cuneo motorway, continuing along the hilly roads towards Cortemilia and the Bormida valley. The nearest train stations are in Alba or Ceva, from which you can continue by car.
Events in Torre Bormida are held in Piazza Michele Ferrero, in the town center. Other concerts in the series take place in churches, castles, and nearby villages in the provinces of Cuneo, Asti, and Alessandria.
