The Italian Oyster Fest is the festival dedicated to oysters made in Italy, hosted in the heart of La Spezia, along the famous Passeggiata Morin that runs between the city center and the sea. An event that celebrates a refined and growing product, enhancing the work of Italian oyster farmers and the entire supply chain.
A great market of taste
The event brings together dozens of exhibitors from different regions — Liguria, Sardinia, Puglia, Emilia Romagna, Veneto — including oyster farms, mussel farmers, breweries, and wine consortia. Alongside tasting stands, the festival offers masterclasses, workshops, cooking shows, and in-depth sessions with talks and conferences on the future of the sector.
Between sea and sustainability
The event, organized in the capital of the eastern Ligurian province, has made environmental sustainability and the recognition of supply chain quality its guiding themes. An opportunity to discover Italian oysters in all their variations, paired with great Ligurian and national wines, with the Gulf of Poets as a backdrop.
Italian Oyster Fest — edition 2026
The fourth edition of the Italian Oyster Fest takes place from May 22 to 24, 2026 on the Passeggiata Morin, with an inauguration at the Pala Oyster on Friday, May 22 at 6 PM. Scheduled are over 40 stands featuring companies and producers from Liguria, Sardinia, Puglia, Emilia Romagna, and Veneto.
Three days packed with tastings, workshops, masterclasses, talks, and seminars on the supply chain, with a particular focus on environmental sustainability and quality recognition in the Italian oyster sector.

- Masterclasses, workshops, and tastings along the Passeggiata Morin
Sunday, May 24
- Tastings, cooking shows, and activities with exhibitors until closing
