Global street food arrives at Piazza Garibaldi in Vada for the Easter weekend
From Friday, April 3, to Monday, April 6, 2026, Piazza Garibaldi in Vada, a seaside district of the municipality of Rosignano Marittimo in the province of Livorno, hosts a new edition of International Street Food, Italy's largest traveling event dedicated to street food. This is the twelfth stop of the national tour, which travels across the peninsula from north to south every year with over two hundred events. The choice of Tuscany and the Etruscan Coast confirms the focus on an area that welcomes the first visitors of the season as early as spring.
The heart of the event is a true village of taste, featuring dozens of carefully selected food trucks and stands from all over Italy and abroad. Visitors can wander freely between the stalls and sample different specialties at every step, in an atmosphere of celebration and conviviality that has become the hallmark of these stops.
The opening is scheduled for Friday, April 3, at 6:00 PM, with stands open until midnight. On Saturday, April 4, Sunday, April 5, and Monday, April 6, the event is open from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, accompanying lunches, snacks, and dinners throughout the long Easter weekend. Admission is free: you only pay for what you choose to eat and drink.
The timing during the Easter holiday makes this event an ideal destination for those looking for a getaway or spending the holidays by the sea. Vada, with its famous Spiagge Bianche (White Beaches) and its village overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, provides the perfect setting to combine a walk along the coast with a delicious stop in the square. The event, organized by International Street Food Italia as part of the A.I.R.S. (Italian Association of Street Restaurateurs) circuit, brings the vibrant and cosmopolitan atmosphere that characterizes quality street food to Rosignano Marittimo.
The 2026 edition of International Street Food in Vada was held in Piazza Garibaldi, in Rosignano Marittimo (LI), from Friday, April 3, to Monday, April 6, coinciding with Easter. The event featured a large gourmet village with dozens of stations dedicated to Italian and international street food.
