The seaside-themed evening hosted by the Pro Loco of Pratiglione, in the heart of the Canavese region
The Fish Dinner is the gastronomic event through which the young Pro Loco of Pratiglione brings the scent of the sea to the hills of the Canavese. Pratiglione is a small town in the Metropolitan City of Turin, in Piedmont, and for one night, its Riccardo Genisio multi-purpose hall transforms into a small seaside resort: soft lights, seashells, surfboards, fishing nets, and scenic waves recreate a surprising marine atmosphere, far from the alpine landscapes that surround the village.
The heart of the event is a menu entirely dedicated to the flavors of the sea, carefully crafted to offer original, sophisticated, and flavorful dishes. The culinary direction is entrusted to chef Max Camerlo, who designs the menu and coordinates the kitchen team, while the scenic room design is the work of Raffaella Enrietto. The result is an evening that combines the pleasure of dining with imaginative decor, capable of surprising guests from the moment they walk through the door.
More than just a dinner, the event is a moment of conviviality that brings together the residents of Pratiglione and the neighboring towns of the Canavese. The event is promoted by the Pro Loco Tourist Association of Pratiglione, chaired by Fausto Leonardi, a recently established organization with the goal of enlivening village life and promoting the region through festivals, fairs, and events. The Fish Dinner is thus part of a calendar of initiatives ranging from Carnival to the patronal feast of Saint Nicholas the Bishop.
A small but significant event that captures the welcoming spirit of Pratiglione and the desire for community typical of Piedmontese towns.
On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the Riccardo Genisio multi-purpose hall in Pratiglione transformed into a small coastal town thanks to the Fish Dinner organized by the Pro Loco led by Fausto Leonardi. The seaside-themed decor, curated by Raffaella Enrietto, recreated an evocative marine landscape with lights, seashells, surfboards, nets, and scenic waves.
The seafood menu, designed by chef Max Camerlo along with the kitchen team, offered original and flavorful dishes, which were highly appreciated by those present, who came from the neighboring towns of the Canavese. The evening concluded in an atmosphere of conviviality and satisfaction.
