The great Bavarian beer festival at Parco della Pellerina
The Paulaner Oktoberfest Turin is the major beer festival that transforms Parco della Pellerina in Turin (Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont) into an authentic corner of Bavaria every autumn. Launched in 2024 and quickly becoming one of the season's most beloved events, it faithfully recreates the atmosphere of the famous Munich festival, bringing Paulaner beer, traditional German dishes, and Bavarian brass band music to Piedmont.
The heart of the event is an impressive tent spanning over 3,000 square meters, set up with the long tables and benches typical of German Festhalle, capable of hosting more than 2,500 seated guests. Next to it is the covered Beer Garden, with about 1,000 seats, and the Oktoberfest Village where you can discover and purchase Bavarian specialties. On the central stage, orchestras and bands alternate, enlivening every evening with traditional German folk music and Italian cover bands.
The absolute star is the Paulaner beer, served in one-liter steins according to the purest Munich tradition. Accompanying it is Bavarian cuisine prepared by dozens of staff: pork knuckle, schnitzel, goulash, bratwurst, spätzle, pretzels, and the great classics of Oktoberfest dining. The collective toast, the Prosit anthem, and the infectious joy do the rest.
Completing the festivities is a large funfair with 90 attractions, designed for the enjoyment of families, teenagers, and children, making Parco della Pellerina a destination for all ages. The event, held under the patronage of the City of Turin, has recorded record-breaking numbers since its first editions, with over 130,000 visitors and tens of thousands of liters of beer poured.
With free admission always, the Paulaner Oktoberfest Turin is now a fixed appointment in the Turin autumn: sixteen days of beer, music, good food, and conviviality that blend Bavarian tradition with the warmth of Piedmontese hospitality.
