Engines, fashion, and festivities in the center of Druento

Every year, the historic center of Druento—a town in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont, bordering the La Mandria Natural Park—comes alive for the vintage car rally known as «Engines, Fashion and Fun». The event takes over the heart of the village, along the route from Via Torino to Via Roma, in front of the Town Hall, attracting motor enthusiasts, curious visitors, and families for an entire afternoon.

Vintage cars in the spotlight

The highlight of the day is the vintage cars: dozens of historic automobiles from across the region are displayed along the town streets. Owners stay by their vehicles, happily sharing stories and trivia with visitors in a friendly atmosphere that is one of the event's most beloved features. Past editions have seen nearly fifty cars participate, including true gems like a 1932 Fiat Ardita.

Between the catwalk and the fun

The Druento event is more than just a rally: alongside the engines, there is room for fashion, with a runway show featuring new collections from local shops, highlighting the bond between the event and the local commercial community. The day is rounded out by music, quizzes and games for children, and a fun live public vote for the most beautiful car, which everyone can participate in easily via QR code.

A community celebration

Organized by the Municipality of Druento together with local merchants and in collaboration with the Pro Loco, the rally is a free event open to the public. It is the perfect occasion for a stroll through the center, combining a passion for historic motors with shopping and the lively atmosphere of a Piedmontese festival, just a few kilometers from Turin and the green areas of La Mandria and Venaria Reale.
