The Settembre Borgarese is the most anticipated event of the year in Borgaro Torinese, a municipality in the northern outskirts of Turin, in Piedmont. The festival is rooted in the Patronal Feast of Saints Cosma and Damiano, the physicians and martyrs venerated as protectors of the local community, and spans the entire month of September with a packed calendar of events combining spirituality, culture, gastronomy, and fun.
The patronal fair in the town center
The heart of the celebration is the SS. Cosma e Damiano Fair, a large commercial fair that takes over the historic center and the town's streets (via Caselle, via Lanzo, via Svizzera, via Ciriè, and surrounding areas) with over a hundred exhibitor stalls. Among the stalls, you will find artisanal, gastronomic, and commercial products, while local shops remain open all day. There is no shortage of live music, open-air dancing, art exhibitions, the youth expo, and roving entertainment for both adults and children.
Street food, beer festival, and funfair
During the peak days, the center transforms into an open-air village with the Food Village and the Beer Festival: cuisines from around the world, gourmet specialties, and craft beers accompanied by concerts and musical evenings. The traditional funfair comes to life in Piazzale Grande Torino, remaining open for the duration of the fair and serving as an unmissable meeting point for families and young people.
The fireworks display
Among the most beloved events is the fireworks display which, every year, illuminates the sky over Borgaro, drawing thousands of people to gaze upward. The fireworks night is one of the moments that best captures the popular and festive identity of this celebration.
A festival for the whole community
The Settembre Borgarese is the result of the joint efforts of the Municipality of Borgaro Torinese, the Parish, the Pro Loco, the Urban Trade District, and numerous local associations and volunteers. The result is a deeply felt festival, capable of attracting visitors from the entire Turin metropolitan area and renewing the bond between the Borgaro community and its patron saints every year.

La Fiera dei SS. Cosma e Damiano è confermata a Borgaro Torinese per domenica 27 settembre 2026, data ufficializzata nel registro fiere della Regione Piemonte. La fiera si svilupperà lungo le vie del centro (via Caselle, via Lanzo, via Svizzera, via Ciriè e dintorni) con un'area mercatale di circa 125 posteggi tra settore alimentare e non alimentare.
Come ogni anno la fiera rappresenta il momento clou del Settembre Borgarese, che porta in paese street food, festa della birra, luna park, musica e lo spettacolo pirotecnico. Il calendario completo degli appuntamenti collaterali e dei concerti verrà pubblicato dal Comune e dalle associazioni organizzatrici nelle settimane che precedono l'evento.

How to get there
Borgaro Torinese is located a few kilometers north of Turin. By car, take the Turin ring road (Borgaro/Caselle exit) or the road to Caselle; Turin-Caselle Airport is just a few minutes away. By train, the reference station is Turin, from which you can reach Borgaro using GTT suburban transport.
Where it takes place
The fair and events take place in the historic center, in Piazza Vittorio Veneto and the surrounding streets; the funfair is located in Piazzale Grande Torino.
Admission and costs
Admission to the fair and outdoor events is free. Any food or drink purchased at the street food stalls or the beer festival is at the visitor's expense.
