About Natale in Giostra
Turin's most historic Christmas funfair
For nearly half a century, Natale in Giostra has been the quintessential Christmas appointment for families in Turin. Established in 1977 by two traveling showmen, Massimo Piccaluga and Leandro Manucci, it was the city's first and only indoor Christmas funfair. Since then, the event, organized by the A.N.E.S.V. traveling show section, has illuminated Turin's winter calendar with rides, lights, and the scent of cotton candy.
The new venue at Parco Dora
After more than forty years spent in Pavilion V of Torino Esposizioni, the funfair found a new home in 2024 at Parco Dora, in the Vitali area, under the imposing 'strippaggio' canopy. The higher ceiling compared to the previous venue has allowed for the installation of rides that were previously impossible to set up, such as the kamikaze, and ensures the park remains operational even in rain or bad weather. The site is located at Via Borgaro 2, at the corner of Largo Piero della Francesca, in the Spina 3 district of Turin, Piedmont.
What to expect
Under the large canopy, there are about 50 attractions for all ages:
- Classic and adrenaline-pumping rides: bumper cars, chair-o-planes, airplanes, kamikaze;
- Attractions for younger children: caterpillar coasters, mini-carousels, and family rides;
- Prize games and traditional funfair stands;
- Shows, mascots, and entertainment on special days.
Admission to the park is free: you only pay for individual rides. The park's skateboard area remains available for younger visitors.
A tradition for Turin's families
More than just a funfair, Natale in Giostra is a collective ritual that accompanies Advent and the holidays in Turin. Generations of locals have grown up with it, and today it is one of the most popular Christmas events in the metropolitan area. Its indoor format makes it a perfect alternative on cold Piedmontese winter days, when open-air Christmas markets are hindered by the frost.

Il tradizionale luna park natalizio coperto di Torino dovrebbe tornare anche nella stagione 2026-2027, nel consueto periodo che va da fine novembre all'Epifania. Le date indicate sono dal 22 novembre 2026 al 6 gennaio 2027.
Trattandosi di una manifestazione storica organizzata dall'A.N.E.S.V., la formula confermata negli ultimi anni prevede una cinquantina di attrazioni al coperto, ingresso libero e la promozione del martedì a 2 euro.

By car: parking areas are available in the streets surrounding Parco Dora. Public transport: GTT lines serving the Largo Piero della Francesca / Via Borgaro area. By bike: the park is accessible via the city's cycle paths.
Opening hours
Monday to Friday 3:30 PM - 11:00 PM; Saturday and days before holidays 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM; Sundays and holidays 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM. Hours are subject to change.
Tickets and promotions
Free admission. Each ride is paid for individually. Tuesday at the fair: all rides for 2 euros (excluding public holidays). Carnet: 10 tickets for 15 euros, valid every day.
Accessibility
The venue is accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. In previous years, a free day was dedicated to people with disabilities.
