The great convivium of Emilia-Romagna's gastronomy
Centomani di questa terra is the annual event of the CheftoChef emiliaromagnacuochi association, a network that since 2012 has united the professionalism of author cuisine with the excellence of producers from Emilia-Romagna. More than just a fair, Centomani is a convivium where Michelin-starred chefs, winemakers, cheesemakers, pork butchers, scholars, and communicators meet to discuss and create a system around regional food culture.
In 2026, the event marks two important innovations: for the first time, it becomes a two-day event and moves to Romagna, in the Municipality of San Mauro Pascoli, in the province of Forlì-Cesena. The chosen venue is Villa Torlonia, the birthplace of the poet Giovanni Pascoli, located within the Parco Poesia Pascoli.
On Sunday, the courtyard of Villa Torlonia transforms into a large regional festival-market open to the public, from 10 AM to 10 PM, featuring:
The second day is dedicated to the professional and educational dimension, with the conference Quality Catering as a Sustainable Business Model, the involvement of hotel and vocational schools, and the Student Competition CheftoChef 2026, where students present their dishes to a jury with a final award ceremony.
Led by president Massimiliano Poggi, with the participation of key figures in regional cuisine, CheftoChef makes Centomani a laboratory where gastronomy becomes a territorial system: a bridge between scientific research, farming knowledge, and haute cuisine, designed to strengthen Emilia-Romagna's role as a leading gastronomic hub nationally and internationally.
The 2026 edition, the eleventh of the event, marked a double breakthrough: the first two-day format and the debut in Romagna, at Villa Torlonia in San Mauro Pascoli.
On Sunday, April 19, from 10 AM to 10 PM, the villa's courtyard hosted the regional festival-market with producer stands, dishes by CheftoChef chefs, wines from member winemakers, and tastings. In parallel, the conference Gastronomic Relations of Areas in Emilia-Romagna and the Comizi Agrari dedicated to Parmigiano Reggiano, balsamic vinegar, ancient breeds, cereals, and oils took place.
On Monday, April 20, from 10 AM to 2 PM, the professional day featured the conference Quality Catering as a Sustainable Business Model and the Student Competition CheftoChef 2026, with hotel school students as protagonists before the jury.
Villa Torlonia is located at Via Due Martiri 2 in San Mauro Pascoli (FC). By car: take the Rimini Nord or Cesena exit from the A14 motorway, then follow local signs towards San Mauro Pascoli. By train: Savignano sul Rubicone-San Mauro-Bellaria station on the Adriatic line, a few minutes from the center.
The festival-market has free admission and is open to the public. Conferences and the professional day may have dedicated participation methods.
Sunday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM; Monday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
