Extra virgin oil from the Romagna hills and autumn flavours in the historic centre of Coriano
The Fair of the Olive and Autumn Products is one of the most anticipated autumn events in Coriano, a hilltop village in the Province of Rimini, Emilia-Romagna. For two days, the historic centre transforms into a large market of aromas and flavours dedicated to the extra virgin olive oil from the Romagna hills and the typical products of the cold season. The event is organized by Pro Loco Coriano with the Municipality of Coriano and the collaboration of CNA Rimini.
The heart of the fair is the Oil House, managed by the Association of Oil Millers of Emilia-Romagna: a thematic space with sensory experiences, guided tastings, and workshops to learn how to recognise good extra virgin oil. Along the village streets, you'll meet the most important oil producers from the Romagna hills, ready to talk about their work and let you taste the freshly pressed green gold.
Alongside the oil, the fair is a triumph of zero-kilometre products that celebrate the area's agricultural tradition:
The food stands offer dishes prepared by chefs using olives, mushrooms, and extra virgin olive oil, while in the days following the fair weekend, themed autumn dinners with wine pairings are held.
The Olive Fair is not just about gastronomy: the programme includes meetings and conferences on agricultural products and local crafts, musical moments, and the typical convivial atmosphere of Romagna festivals. The Coriano Municipal Council has established that the fair takes place every year on the Saturday and Sunday of the second-to-last weekend of November, confirming the deep bond between this event and the identity of the town.
The 2026 edition of the Fair of the Olive and Autumn Products will be held on Saturday, November 21, and Sunday, November 22, 2026, in the historic centre of Coriano, Province of Rimini. The dates are confirmed by the official calendar of the Riviera di Rimini and follow the tradition of holding the fair on the second-to-last weekend of November.
This year again, the Oil House returns with its sensory experiences and guided tastings, stands of oil producers from the Romagna hills, and the market of typical autumn products: olives, extra virgin oil, mushrooms, chestnuts, cured meats, fossa cheese, and honey. The detailed programme, including times, themed dinners, and musical events, will be published by Pro Loco Coriano in the weeks before the event.
The detailed programme for the 39th edition will be announced by Pro Loco Coriano in the weeks preceding the event. Based on past editions, the weekend of November 21-22, 2026, is expected to feature:
In the days following the fair weekend, the traditional autumn themed dinners with wine pairings are usually held.
